Can you work with translations supplied by our agency?

Yes. Altarys places supplied translations into document layouts, adjusts the composition and applies your reviewers’ amendments. Tell us whether you need file preparation, post-translation DTP or both.

Can you fix translated InDesign and IDML layouts?

Yes. We address overset text, spacing, page flow and other formatting changes after translation. Send the layout files, linked assets, available fonts and reference PDF.

Does DTP include linguistic proofreading?

Our production checks focus on layout and formatting against your reference material and instructions. Linguistic proofreading is a separate task unless expressly included in the agreed scope.

Can you replace text inside images and diagrams?

Yes. We adapt supplied translations within graphics and images. Share editable artwork where available and specify the required output so we can assess the work.

What should we send for a DTP quote?

Include the file formats, languages, approximate page or file count, required output and deadline with its time zone. For InDesign work, tell us which source files, linked assets, fonts and reference PDFs are available.

Can you help if we only have a PDF?

Yes. Document reconstruction and pre-translation preparation form part of our services. We assess the available material and the editable output needed to establish the appropriate production approach.

Can we ask about urgent DTP work?

Yes. Send the deadline and a description of the assignment. We confirm availability and the delivery plan after reviewing the requirements.

How are projects priced?

We use hourly or per-page pricing according to the work. Larger and recurring assignments can be quoted individually. Ask us about agency rates with an outline of your usual production needs.

Can you work in our platform?

We have experience with Smartcat and client-specific systems. Describe the tool and the tasks involved so we can assess the procedure, required access and production requirements.
